An interview which will include a Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment

Training & Assessment

Training will be face to face at Bubup Wilam Aboriginal Child and Family Centre,  with assessment and placement being carried out by our experienced trainer and assessor in the Bubup workplace.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Credit Transfer (CT)

This will be discussed and determined as part of the interview process before enrolment

Pathways

This program will assist in supporting and engaging people who are interested in a career in Early Childhood, and provide a flexible pathway, leading to a successful outcome in this industry.
This program will provide a flexible and nurturing experience, with the opportunity to gain a qualification in Early Childhood.

Traineeship

Course Description

This course will be for those people interested in embracing a career in Early Childhood Education and Care, with the aim of providing the relevant knowledge to support Aboriginal learners in mapping out career pathways in this sector. Bubup Wilam is an Aboriginal Child and Family Centre, and therefore training will occur on site where participant's will gain first hand knowledge and insight into the operations of a regulated Early Learning Centre run through an Aboriginal perspective. This course will support Aboriginal people in gaining career pathways into working in the Aboriginal community and the wider early childhood sector.
 
  • A qualification in Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30113)
  • People will have the added benefit of studying and obtaining experience within a regulated Aboriginal Early Years environment
  • This course will support Aboriginal people in gaining employment through this traineeship with Bubup Wilam Aboriginal Child and Family Centre.
  • Regulatory framework
  • Provide care for toddlers and babies
